MARY RICHARDSON POND

   Suffolk - Mrs. Mary Richardson (Gussie) Pond, 76, widow of Guy Phillip Pond, 
former Suffolk police officer, died in a Williamsburg hospital Sunday night.

   A daughter of Charles and Mollie Cox Richardson of Sussex County, she was a 
member of Suffolk Christian Church and its Woman’s Fellowship and West Memorial 
Bible Class.

   Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. O.J. Palmer of Windsor, Mrs. Hazel Earley 
of Suffolk and Mrs. J.O. Chappelle of Surry; a son, Wilson W. Pond of 
Sykesville, Md.; a brother, A.F. Richardson of Suffolk; seven grandchildren; and 
four great-grandchildren.
