Webb Pinner, well-known peanut man of Suffolk and a member of the City council, died at his home Thursday morning after several months of illness. He was head of the J. Webb Pinner Company, peanut storage warehouseman. He was born in Chuckatuck but had made his home in Suffolk for the past twenty- one years. He was well known in Suffolk for his many activities both social and business. He showed much interest in Church, political and business affairs of the city also very active in Boy Scout work and other organizations. Jno.
