Privott, wife of G.D. Privott, of this city, died in a local hospital last night at 9:30 o'clock after a lingering illness, aged 26 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by two children, William and Edna Privott, of Suffolk; her father, T.C. Slavin, of Suffolk; three sisters, Mrs. Erma Griggs, Mrs. J.L. Burton, and Miss Grace Slavin, all of Suffolk; three brothers, C.B. Slavin, J.C. Slavin, and Clyde Slavin, all of Suffolk; two half-brothers, W.C. Slavin, of Newport News, Va., and Elenor Johnson, of Hopewell, Va. The funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the residence, 425 Brooke Avenue, by Rev. H.J. Goodwin. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** Funeral Service for Mrs. Privott Funeral services for Mrs. G.D. Privott were conducted yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock by Dr. W.W. Staley, assisted by the Rev. H.R. Hardcastle, at the residence, 435 Brooke Avenue. They were largely attended. The pallbearers were L.J. Jernigan, S.W. Lilly, J.D. Lilly, H.W. Israel, L.B. Ray, C.T. Nelson, T.J. Nixon, and J.M. Henderson. Interment was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
