Hill and Company Funeral Home. Services were conducted by the Rev. Allen Hurdle, pastor of Holy Neck Christian Church. He read a poem, "There Is No Death," as part of the services. Mrs. J. Webb Pinner, Jr., played softly on the organ "The Old Rugged Cross" and "The Sweet Bye and Bye." The pall was of red and fuchsia gladioli. Pallbearers were Lloyd Blanchard, Charlie Fowler, Jamie Rountree, Alfred Lassiter, Dewey Blanchard, John Lassiter, and Phillip Hofler.
