Robert [sic; Rubert] M. Pierce The body of First Lt. Robert M. Pierce, U.S. Air Force, who was killed in an airplane accident Tuesday at Greenville, Miss., will arrive here tomorrow at 6:55 a.m. and be taken to the I.O. Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Liberty Spring Christian Church by Dr. Jesse H. Dollar and Dr. I.W. Johnson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be accompanied home by First Lt. Robert K. Nystrom. ****************************************************************************** Lt. R.M. Pierce Buried Yesterday Last rites for First Lt. Rubert Marion Pierce, USAF, of Nansemond County, who was killed Tuesday at the Greenville, Miss., Air Base, were held yesterday afternoon at the Liberty Spring Christian Church. The Rev. Dr. Jeese Dollar, pastor, and Chaplain James R. Styles, Langley Field Chaplain, officiated and burial wad in the church cemetery with full military honors. The casket was covered with an American flag which was replaced with a pall of red roses, white snapdragons and carnations. Pallbearers were S-Sgt. E.D. Davis, T-Sgt. C.H. Egbom, S-Sgt. C.H. Marshall, T-Sgt. J.H. Coar, S-Sgt G.G. Hoode and T-Sgt. R.D.
