She had been ill for some time. She was the widow of John Perkins and a daughter of Tom and Mary Fowler of Isle of Wight County. She was a member of Summerton [sic; Somerton] Methodist Church. She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Bessie Underwood of Nansemond County and Mrs. Annie Mary Daughtrey of Norfolk; 3 sons, William T. Everett of Nansemond County, Charlie Everett of Jarrett and James Henry Everett of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 19, 1955 at 2:30 p.m. at the Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. Herbert Hall. Burial will be in Summerton Methodist Church Cemetery.
