Saturday at 10 p.m. His wife is a native of Suffolk. He was a son of the late Ella Gilbert Pearson and Harry Crompton Pearson of Elizabeth City, N.C. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Dawson Pearson of Charlotte, N.C., former resident of Suffolk; one daughter, Mrs. William F. Haskett of Elizabeth City, N.C.; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. J. Skipper of Virginia Beach and Mrs. Vernon Cartwright of Newport News; and one brother, Edwin F. Pearson of Roanoke. He was a senior warden of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Charlotte, N.C. and was a member of Hiram Lodge, No. 30, A.F. & A. M. of Suffolk. Mr. Pearson was president of W.G. Pearson Co., Inc., a sales engineers firm, and president of Engineering Enterprises. He was associated with Winton Products Co. of Charlotte, N.C. He was also a board member of St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation and president of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew’s of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Charlotte, N.C. Funeral services will be conducted today at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Charlotte, N.C., and the body will arrive at the Baker Funeral Home in Suffolk Tuesday at 7 a.m. Graveside services will be conducted in Cedar Hill Cemetery Tuesday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. H. Walter Whichard of Suffolk.
