ANNE ELIZABETH TURLINGTON PARKER 

        MRS. PARKER 

  Funeral services for Mrs. Anne Elizabeth Parker, 89, widow of the late 
Thomas P. Parker, who died last night at the home of her daughter-in-law Mrs. 
Luton [sic; Lula] V. Parker following a long illness, will be conducted at the 
grave in Bethlehem Christian Church cemetery tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock 
by the Rev. R.E. Brittle and the Rev. N.H. Davis. 

  Mrs. Parker is survived by a granddaughter, Miss Edna Parker, and a 
grandson, James E. Parker, both of Suffolk; a step-daughter, Mrs. R.F. Young 
of Richmond. 

  She was a life member of the Bethlehem Church.  Burial will be in the church 
cemetery.

D.Cert. 23053 (Suffolk #322) gives b. 14 Oct 1851; the informant was 
   her daughter-in-law. 

Her father was a Confederate soldier, having served several months in the 
   militia at the beginning of the war.  His obits ("Virginian-Pilot,"
