Constance Rd., died Nov. 9, 1988, in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. A native of Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late James Edward Parker and Lula Virginia Williams Parker. She had retired as a secretary after 40 years of service for Suffolk Peanut Co. She was a member of Oxford United Methodist Church, its West Memorial Bible Class and the United Methodist Women. She was a past president and member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club. Survivors include nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 3 p.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Ward Donat. The family will be at the home of Mrs. James E. Parker, 718 Jones St. Memorial donations may be made to the Oxford United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or the Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad. R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
