PARKER RITES HELD AT HIS HOME ACCOMAC, Aug. 23 -(AP) - State Trooper Harry R. Parker, 69, died Tuesday at his home here. He had been with the State Police since 1928, after serving as deputy sheriff of Accomac County for 15 years. Born in Suffolk, son of the late Henry and Fannie Norworthy Parker, he attended the College of William and Mary, where he played left end on the first football team there to defeat the University of Richmond. In 1907, he came to the Eastern Shore and settled at Accomac. Funeral services were held at 4 P.M. Thursday at the residence, with burial in Edgehill Cemetery. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Melson and Mrs. Robert F. Burdick, of Accomac; three sons, Sergeant Henry R. Parker, of the State police; David A. parker, of Onley; Seaman First Class James Ernest Parker, USN, now in the Pacific; two sisters, Mrs. J. L. Street, who lives in California, and Mrs. H. Page Johnson, of Richmond; three grandchildren, Mary Gayle Parker, Culpepper; David M. Parker, Onley, and Pamela Melson, Accomac. [Harry R. PARKER, b.
