Riverview Dr., died early Wednesday morning at Obici Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Baldie Edward Parker and a daughter of the late William C. and Rosa Railey Brett of Southampton County. She was a member of Main Street Methodist Church and its Women’s Society and a member of the Suffolk Woman’s Club. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Parker Pond and Mrs. Sarah Parker Pond of Suffolk; a son Binford E. Parker, Jr. of Suffolk; a sister Mrs. Nina Brett Chitty of Suffolk; a brother, J.C. Brett of Como, N.C.; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted today at 3 p.m. at the Main Street Methodist Church by Rev. George S. Lightner, pastor, and Dr. Samuel T. Habel, pastor of the Chapel Hill, N.C. Baptist Church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The body will be taken from the Baker Funeral Home to the church one hour prior to the service.
