Parker, formerly of Nansemond County, who died Thursday at a Norfolk Hospital, were conducted Saturday afternoon at the Hill Funeral Home with Rev. R.E. Brittle officiating. Clyde Umphlett sang, "Abide With Me" and "Sunrise." The pall was of white gladioli, lilies and red roses. Pallbearers were the brothers of Miss Parker: R.C., W.M., J.L., Frank I., Eddie, Paul and Gordon Parker, and G.C. Franklin, Miss Parker's brother-in- law. Burial was in the Cypress Chapel Church Cemetery.
