Walter J. Lockett, pastor of the Larchmont Methodist Church, Norfolk. The casket was covered with a pall of red roses and active pallbearers were Sam Odom, William Harrison, Robert Bosman, II, F.O. Clarke, Seba Walters, Borland Walters and J.T. Berry. Burial was in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. William M. Harrison, of Newport News; Mrs. Jack Edwards, of Greenville, N.C.; Miss Margaret Byrd Parker, and Mrs. Robert I. Bosman, II, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Watson Roberts, of Durham, N.C.; a sister, Mrs. H.H. Hunter, of Whaleyville; three nieces, Mrs. F.O. Clarke, of Whaleyville; Mrs. Philip Marshall, of Newport News, and Miss Margaret Odom, of Norfolk; five nephews, Lt. J.R. Odom, USN, Lt. (jg) T.G. Odom, USN, Sergeant Retes Odom, U.S. Army, Sam Odom and Henry Odom, of Suffolk. Their parents, Dempsey & "Pattie" Martha Louise (RIDDICK) ODOM, donated the land for Somerton Methodist Church. They are buried in a family plot, apparently in the vicinity of Somerton Methodist Church Cemetery.
