MAUDE HARRELL PRATT

   MRS. MAUDE H. PRATT, 84, of 207 Laurel Drive, Suffolk, died Tuesday in a 
hospital.  A native of Gates County, N.C., she was a daughter of Isaac S. and 
Mrs. Mary Susan Umphlett Harrell the widow of Joseph S. Pratt.  She was a 
member of First Baptist Church.

   Surviving are three daughters, Miss Ruth Pratt of Suffolk, Mrs. D.G. Davis 
of Newport News and Mrs. James E. Roberts, Jr. of Courtland; two sons, Joseph 
Vaughan Pratt of Virginia Beach and Harrell R. Pratt of Suffolk, and two 
sisters, Mrs. Daisy Moore of Newport News and Mrs. Dora Newbern of Norfolk. 
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Sidney F. Harrell.
