JULIET CAROLINE PRETLOW

   CHARLOTTESVILLE, March 7 - Miss Juliet Caroline Pretlow, 84, of Simeon, this 
county, died Wednesday at the Home for the Aged here. A funeral service will be 
held at 11 a.m. Friday at Christ Episcopal Church, with burial in Pretlow family 
plot in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk.  She was born in Suffolk, but most of her 
life was spent in Albemarle, where for 27 years she was the lay worker in charge 
of the Episcopal mission at St. Luke’s Chapel, located between Monticello and 
Ash Lawn. Surviving are a brother, Dr. Robert Pretlow, of Suffolk, and a sister, 
Miss Martha Pretlow, of Richmond.
