Funeral services were conducted at Bethlehem Church and burial was in the church cemetery. For the past year she made her home with her granddaughter, Mrs. Mary Ellen Smith. She was a faithful member of Bethlehem Christian Church. ****************************************************************************** MRS. MARY A. PRUDEN Suffolk, Jan. 14. - Mrs. Mary A. Pruden, 87, died today at her home near Suffolk. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Malvina Roberts, of Windsor, Va., and Mrs. Jennie Stevenson [sic; Stephenson]; three stepsons, A.C. Pruden and Mills Pruden, of Suffolk, and Jesse Pruden, of the county, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mollie Redd, of the county. Funeral services will be held at Bethlehem Christian Church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. H.H. Butler.
