THOMAS JEFFERSON PRUDEN

   SUFFOLK, APRIL 2 - T.J. Pruden, a died at his home near Myrtle today at 
noon in the 67th year of his age.  He is survived by his wife and the 
following daughters: Mrs. W.H. Powell of Magnolia, Va.; Mrs. Irvin Johnson of 
Hopewell, Va.; Miss Maude Pruden of Suffolk,  Mrs. J.F. Gardner of Norfolk, 
Mrs. J.B. Vaughan of Suffolk, Misses Lillie and Katie Pruden of the county 
and Mrs. Talmadge Hobbs of Suffolk.

   The funeral services will be held at the residence near Myrtle, at 3 
o’clock Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Mr. Billings, assisted by Rev. 
Mr. Lewis.  The body will be brought to Suffolk and interred in Cedar Hill 
Cemetery.
