Porter, 711 Thirty-fourth street, Thursday, March 9, 1916, at 1 o'clock a.m., BENJAMIN G. PORTER, SR., in the 72d year of his age. The remains will be forwarded to Holland, Va., via Southern Railway, FRIDAY MORNING, March 10, at 8 o'clock, for funeral from the Christian church at 11 a.m. Friends of the family invited to attend. 1t ****************************************************************************** BENJAMIN PORTER Suffolk, March 10. - This morning at the Holland Christian church, the funeral services of the late Benjamin Porter, who died at the home of his son, Thomas Porter, in Norfolk, were held, Rev. Mr. Black being assisted in conducting the services by Rev. Dr. Lawless and Rev. Dr. I.W. Johnson. The deceased is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Frank Savage, Mrs. I.P Byrd and Mrs. Annie G. Daughtrey; three sons, B.G. Porter, Jr., Robert Porter and Thomas Porter. The interment was made in the church cemetery. Robert Howell & Margaret Rebecca (O'BERRY) HOLLAND.
