Funeral services for Mrs. Monia Rabey, who died Monday afternoon, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the grave in Cedar Hill cemetery, Rev. Dr. W.W. Staley officiating. Mrs. Rabey, who was 71 years old, is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Annie Brewer and Mrs. Mary Wood, of Portsmouth, and four sons, Hersey Rabey, of Portsmouth, Richard Rabey, of Franklin, Archie Rabey, of Norfolk, and Rufus Rabey, of North Carolina. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. Monia Rabey. - The funeral of Mrs. Monia Rabey, who died at the home of her son, Archie Rabey, 269 Holiday [sic; Holladay] street, Monday afternoon, was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the grave in Cedar Hill Cemetery, conducted by Dr. W.W. Staley. Active pallbearers were: R.B. Evans, G.T. Eley, G.R. New, Dan Hewell [sic; Howell], Drewery Harrell, G.R. Ellington, P.B. Williams and Irvin Brinkley; honorary - C.F. Taylor, G.L. Her son Richard RABY (1872 - 1950) is buried in Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
