Warren, in Whaleyville, will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Great Folk Baptist Church by the Rev. W.H. Clark, pastor, and the Rev. R.H. Corbitt, pastor of the Colosse Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Russell is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Warren; one son, Raleigh Russell, of Whaleyville; two step-children, Mrs. L.F. Norton and Cecil Russell, of Whaleyville; two grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Anna Taylor, of Suffolk; one brother, D.P. Johnson, of Norfolk, and several nieces and nephews. The body will remain at the Funeral Home of R. W. Baker & Company until tomorrow afternoon. ****************************************************************************** Last Rites Held For Mrs. Russell Funeral service for Mrs. Nannie Johnson Russell were held yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Great Fork Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. W.H. Clark, pastor of church, and the Rev. R.H. Corbitt, pastor of Colosse Baptist church. The choir sang "Haven of Rest"; "The Old Rugged Cross" was sung as a duet by Misses Maybelle Edwards and Latilda Ward, accompanied by Mrs. Owen Parker. Active pallbearers included Speight [sic], Aubury Johnson, J.R. Vann, Harvey Speight, Isaac Speight, Fred Speight, Hurley and Ralph Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers were: Clyde Warren, I.H. Wiggin, W.C. Eure, J.E. Baines, and Leonard Horton. The casket was covered with a pall of chrysanthemums and pink roses. W.H. Clarke, and the Rev. R.H. Corbitt, pastor of Colosse Baptist Church, officiating. The casket was covered with a pall of large white chrysanthemums and pink roses.
