ELLA PEARCE ROGERS

   SUFFOLK, March 17 - Mrs. Ella Pearce Rogers, 63, wife of Philip Rogers, 
died this morning at 11 o’clock at her home near Cypress Chapel, after an 
illness of several months.  Besides her husband, she is survived by her 
mother, Mrs. Mitchell Pearce, of Corapeake, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs. V.L. 
Henderson, of Portsmouth, and Mrs. A.R. Jackson, of Suffolk; four brothers, 
W.T. Pearce, of Suffolk, H.L. Pearce, of Norfolk, J.R. Pearce, of Corapeake, 
and A.K. Pearce, of Raleigh, N.C. and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral 
services will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Cypress Chapel 
Christian Church conducted by the Rev. R.E. Brittle.  Burial will be in the 
church cemetery.
