RIDDICK DIED YESTERDAY Suffolk, Va., Aug. 31. - Mrs. Alice O. Riddick, a prominent lady of the county, widow of the late Dr. Robert Riddick, died today at the home of her brother, W.J. Brinkley, on Linden Avenue, this morning at 9:20 o’clock, aged 65 years. Mrs. Riddick, who lived with her son E.F. Riddick, was on a visit to her brother when stricken with her last illness. She is survived by one son, E. Floyd Riddick, of Whaleyville, Va.; one sister, Mrs. E.P Harrell of Baltimore, three brothers, George W. Brinkley of Goldsboro, N.C.; Ed Brinkley of Cypress Chapel, and W.J. Brinkley of Suffolk. The funeral services will be conducted from Oxford M.E. Church Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, by Rev. Mr. Busby of Whaleyville, pastor of the deceased, assisted by Rev. J.C. Robertson. The interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. [...] SUFFOLK BRIEFS Suffolk, Va., Aug. 31. - E.F.
