A native of Suffolk, she was a daughter of Burwell Riddick Sr. and Mrs. Ada Shephard [sic; Shepherd] Riddick. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church, Marvin Sunday School Class, Circle 3, Business and Professional Women's Club, and Davis Circle of King's Daughters. She was a 39-year co-owner of Suffolk Motor Co. and retired in 1966. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Diana Harris of Wilson, N.C., and Mrs. Henry A. Rawles of Suffolk, and a brother, George Paine Riddick of Richmond. A funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in I.O. Hill Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. Hugh J. Winston Jr. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
