Funeral services for Mrs. Georgie Ferguson Riddick, 82, who died Saturday night at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Willis S. Riddick, on Bank Street, will be conducted at 4 o'clock this afternoon at the grave in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Rev. Johnson of Norfolk will officiate. Mrs. Riddick was the daughter of the late John Felix and Zebonia [sic; Zenobia] Jones Ferguson and the widow of John B. Riddick. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Willis S. Riddick, and grandson, Major Willis S. Riddick, of Fort Bragg, N.C. She was a member of the Episcopal Church. Active pallbearers are to be Therman Deal, C.W. Wagner, James Brockenborough, Marmaduke Woodward, Fred Hart and Ira Moore. Correct spelling from the D.Cert. 9451 (Suffolk #112) of her brother Walter Beauregard FERGUSON (1860 - 1935). Georgia, 16, appeared there in the 1880 Census. Their mother may be identical with the Zenobia JONES who appeared in the 1850 Census in Petersburg, age 17.
