[...] A telegram was received yesterday by Captain C.W. Wright, announcing the death at Citra, Fiorida, of Mr. Jack Riddick, which sad event occurred at 4 A.M. yesterday morning. His remains will be brought home for burial. ****************************************************************************** SUFFOLK MATTERS. Captain C.W. Wright, who went up to Weldon to meet his family returning with the remains of their brother, Mr. John B. Riddick, had to wait over until yesterday. They missed connection and couid not reach here until yesterday evening. [...] ****************************************************************************** SUFFOLK MATTERS. [...] The funeral of Mr. John Riddick was held yesterday morning at the Christian Church. Rev. W.W. Staley conducted the services, and spoke in a touching manner of the deceased, whom all loved, saying his last wish was to come back to Suffolk and connect himself with the church (he having embraced religion while in Florida), and tell the boys of the better life. The following were the pall-bearers: E.A. Norfleet, James Bell, E.S. Riddick, Sydney Britt, E.A. Hall, W.J. Cohoon, Frank Jones and J.
