RHODES Suffolk, Jan. 26. - Mrs. J.L. Rhodes, 53, prominent resident of Nansemond County, died today at 4:45 a.m. after a brief illness at her home near Chuckatuck. She is survived by her husband, Jacob L. Rhodes, two daughters, Mrs. H.V. Moger, of Eclipse, and Miss Ruby Rhodes, of Chuckatuck; five sons, Vernon L. Rhodes, of Windsor; William T. Rhodes, of Franklin; Robert E. Rhodes, of Elizabeth City, N.C., Richard F. and John L. Rhodes, of Chuckatuck, and two sisters, Mrs. J.E. Carr, of Colosse, Mrs. R.J. Pierce, of Buckhorn, and a niece, Miss Mary L. Brown, of Chuckatuck. Funeral services will be held at Oakland Christian Church Tuesday. Cora Lucy (LEWIS; Mrs. Jacob L.)
