RIDDICK DEAD. - News reached Suffolk yesterday of the death of Mr. James Edward Riddick, who lived in the county near Cypress Chapel. The deceased was a venerable and highly respected citizen who was favorably known throughout the county. He was the father of Dr. C.J. Riddick and Mrs. W.A. King, of Suffolk. The funeral will take place at 10 a.m. to day from Cypress Chapel Christian Church, of which he was a member. The interment will be in a cemetery near his late residence. ****************************************************************************** The funeral of Mr. James E. Riddick at Cypress Chapel yesterday was largely attended. Rev. H.H. Butler officiated.
