All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ ZULIA GODWIN RIDDICK Mrs. Zulia Godwin Riddick, age 75, died at her residence, 413 Boissevain Avenue, yesterday morning at 3:30 o’clock, after an illness of four months. She was the widow of Richard Taylor Riddick and daughter of the late James E. and Margaret Adeline Darden Godwin. She was born in Nansemond County and lived there until she came to Norfolk four years ago to make her home. Mrs. Riddick is survived by one brother, E. Phillip Godwin, of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Lillian Godwin Wills, of Suffolk, and several nieces and nephews. Remains will be taken from the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Brother, 831 Westover Avenue, at 11:45 o’clock this morning to Wesley Chapel Methodist Church, Chuckatuck, where funeral services will take place at the grave in the churchyard at 1:30 o’clock. The Rev. E.P. Miner, rector of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, of this city, will officiate. Zulia [Zuliem] (GODWIN; Mrs. Richard T.)
