Rogers, seven-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. S.L. Rogers, died this afternoon at 1:10 o'clock at the home, 417 West Washington street, after a long illness. Besides his parents, he is survived by one sister and one brother, Miss Mildred Rogers and Stanley Rogers, Jr.; grandmother, Mrs. C.C. Copeland, of Nansemond county, and a number of aunts and uncles. Funeral arrangements are not yet completed. ****************************************************************************** AARON C. ROGERS SUFFOLK, June 19 - Aaron C. Rogers, 7-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. S.L. Rogers, died this afternoon at 1:10 o’clock at his home on West Washington street. Surviving him are his sister, Miss Mildred Rogers; a brother, Stanley Rogers, Jr.; his grandmother, Mrs. C.C. Copeland, and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 4 o’clock at the Friends’ Meeting House at Box Elder. The Rev. C.E. Pleasants and the Rev. Dr. N.G. Newman will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
