(Special to Virginian-Pilot.) Suffolk, Va., Oct. 22. - [...] MRS. RODGERS DEAD. Mrs. Virginia I. Rodgers died to-day at her home, No. 11 Pearl street, aged 69 years. She had been ill two weeks. The end was brought on by a general failing of the vital parts. The funeral will take place at 11 o'clock to- morrow morning from the Methodist Church. The burial will occur at Cypress Chapel. Rev. J.H. Kabler will preach the funeral in the absence of Pastor W.T. Green. The deceased leaves two daughters - Mrs. T.W. Nelms, of Suffolk, and Mrs. P.E. Green, of Norfolk. She was a half sister of Mrs. R.E. Riddick, of Whaleyville; Edward D. and William J. Brinkley, of Nansemond county, and George W. Brinkley, of Goldsboro, N.C.
