RAWLES Funeral services for Mrs. Ava T. Rawles were held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Liberty Spring Christian church, conducted by Dr. I.W. Johnson and the Rev. A.E. Cloud. A quartette composed of Mrs. G.C. Bradshaw, Mrs. Clarence Harrell, W.W. Darden and R.A. Harrell, accompanied by Mrs. I.W. Johnson, sang "A Christian's Goodnight" and a solo "In The Hour of Trial" was sung by W.W. Darden. There were many handsome floral tributes, a pall of ascension lilies and pink rosebuds covering the casket. Active pallbearers were: Willard F. Morgan, Charlie Duke, Chammie Harrell, E.B. Rawles, Foushee O'Berry, Conrad Barnes, J.K. Parker, and T.A. Park. Honorary pallbearers were the Baraca class and friends of the family. Interment was made in the church cemetery.
