ANNIE COFER RAWLS Mrs. Annie Cofer Rawls, widow of the late David N. Rawls, member of a family prominent here, died at Lakeview hospital today at 4:15 a.m., after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 5 o'clock at the Rawls apartment, 318 North Main street. The Rev. H.J. Goodwin, assisted by the Rev. E.A. Potts, will officiate. Interment will be in Cedar Hill cemetery. Mrs. Rawls was a member of the First Baptist church. She was a native of Isle of Wight county and was the daughter of the late Junius O. Cofer and Mrs. Fannie Goodrich Cofer. Surviving are nine children, Mrs. W.H. Sykes, Smithfield, Va.; Mrs. J.B. Taliaferro, Ivor, Va.; Mrs. D.C. Lewis, Norfolk; Mrs. H.E. Sturgeon, Suffolk; J.F. Rawls, Nashville, Tenn.; David A. Rawls, Virginia Beach; L.H. Rawls and W.C. Rawls, Suffolk; R.G. Rawls, Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. J.W. Rogers, Waverly, Va.; Mrs. J.W. Betts, Isle of Wight; four brothers, A.J. Cofer, W.C. Cofer, Richmond; John Cofer, Kansas City, Mo.; B. Cofer Pharr, Texas; and 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. ****************************************************************************** MRS.
