IDA M. HOLLAND RAWLES

   Suffolk, June 22, Mrs. Ida M. Rawles, 90, widow of John L. Rawles, a life-
long resident of Nansemond County, died at 7 o’clock tonight at a Suffolk 
hospital after an illness of several weeks. She was a daughter of the late 
Frederick H. and Sarah A. Holland, of Nansemond County.

   She is survived by a son-in-law, Paul N. Smith, of Nansemond County and 
several nieces and nephews.

   She was an active member of Liberty Springs Christian Church.

   The body was taken to the I.O. Hill Funeral Home where it will remain until 3 
p.m. Saturday, at which time the funeral procession will leave for the Liberty 
Springs church for funeral services at 3:30 p.m., conducted by Dr. Jesse H. 
Dollar and Dr. I.W. Johnson. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
