A native of Nansemond County, she was a member of Suffolk Christian Church and is Woman’s Missionary Society Circle 6 and to Obici Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She was a daughter of the late Joseph Henry and Mrs. Martha Williamson Harrell of Nansemond County. Surviving are her husband Emmett H. Rawles Sr., and a son, Emmett H. Rawles Jr. of Suffolk. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in Suffolk Christian Church by the Rev. Robert B. Marr. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The body will be taken from I.O. Hill & Co. Funeral Home to the church at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Katherine C. (HARRELL; Mrs. Emmett H.
