A native of Suffolk, she was the widow of Dr. Jepheth E. Rawls, Jr., the daughter of the late Ursula Williams and Emmett J. Riddick, and sister of the late Emmett J. Riddick, Jr. Mr. Rawls was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, past president of the Altar Guild, and a member of the Episcopal Church Women. She was a past member of the Nansemond River Gardens Club, Riddick Folly, Suffolk-Nansemond Historical Society and the Suffolk Women's Golf Association. She was a graduate of Farmville State Teachers' College, now known as Longwood College. Mrs. Rawls is survived by two sisters-in-law, Mary Sue Parker of Suffolk and Margaret Rawls Bullard of Mebane, N.C.; two brothers-in-law, Dr. Charles H. Rawls of Suffolk and Dr. Harvey P. Rawls of Virginia Beach; and three cousins, Norman N. Bradshaw of Suffolk, Floyd B. Bradshaw Jr. of Portsmouth and Blanch McCall Felder of Gainesville, Ga. A funeral will be conducted at the graveside at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. H.
