ELLA HURDLE ROUNTREE

   SUFFOLK, November 9, - Mrs. T.H. Rountree, 79, widow of T.H. Rountree, of 
near Suffolk, died tonight at 10:45 o’clock at a local hospital.  She is 
survived by four children, Mrs. I.T. Horton, of Whaleyville; C.W. Rountree, of 
Whaleyville; J.R. Rountree, of Corapeake, N.C., and G.T. Rountree, of Suffolk; 
one brother, E.J. Hurdle, of Tarboro, N.C., 17 grandchildren and several 
nieces and nephews.

   Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the 
Western Baptist Church, by the Rev. J. Sidney Cobb and the Rev. J.R. Taylor. 
Burial will be in the church yard.
