Rites This Afternoon For Mrs. Bertha Shoop 

  Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Zimmerman Shoop of 118 Bank Street, who 
died Sunday night at the Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, will be held this 
afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Suffolk Christian Church.  Interment will take 
place in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Bertha Shoop Buried in Cedar Hill 

  Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Zimmerman Shoop, who died Sunday night at 
the Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, were held yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock 
at the Suffolk Christian Church. 

  Dr. Duane N. Vore, church pastor, and Dr. H.S. Hardcastle, pastor of the 
Oakland Christian Church, conducted the services.  Burial took place in Cedar 
Hill Cemetery. 

  Mrs. Claudia Jacobs, Miss Julianne Brinkley, Paul van Valkenburg and Bryon 
Cutchin, accompanied by David Brown Harrell, sang "Ten Thousand Times."  The 
Rev. Vore read "Abide with Me," "The Sleep" and "The Friend's Burial." 

  The pall was of white roses, gardenias and freezias.  Pallbearers were John 
T. Philips, Jr., Bernard W. Godwin, Jr., William C. Moore, Jr., and Edward 
Harrington Brooks, Jr.
