Funeral Service For The Late J. T. Spivey 

  The funeral services of J.T. Spivey were conducted at the residence in Park 
avenue Wednesday afternoon at 4 o’clock by the Rev. H.J. Goodwin, of the 
Baptist church.  There were many handsome floral designs. 

  Active pallbearers were O.E. Sullivan, E.L. Brown, E.P. Pope, E.J. 
Sitterson, Cyrus Benton, L.T. Lucas, J.R. Taylor, George Herbert; honorary, 
R.J. Tidwell, J.B. Harrell, Sam Russell, J.W. Ward, Frank Butler, Hurley 
Butler, Carl Schadel, J.F. Pinner, Jesse McClenny, Cyrus Benton, George 
Chase, F.W. Watkins, W.R. Hundley, E.P. Pond, E.J. Walls, M.W. Benton, J.R. 
Williams, Mr. Hayes and Mr. Woodward.  Interment was made in Cedar Hill 
Cemetery.

   Farmer; Rents Farm #89; h/o M.J. SPIVEY, b. May 1848, m. 20 years; 
   1 of 1 child surviving.
