Word has been received by Dan McClenny, 413 Jackson Street, of the death of his aunt, Mrs. M.B. Spivey, at 9:15 this morning at her home in Bethel, N.C. Mrs. Spivey lived in this city for many years. Funeral services will be conduct at 3 p.m. Saturday at the I.O. Hill Funeral Home. ****************************************************************************** Rites Held For Mrs. Minnie Spivey Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Belle Spivey, who died at her home in Bethel, N.C., Thursday morning, were conducted yesterday afternoon at the I.O. Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. Thomas W. Fryer. Jimmie Jernigan, accompanied by Mrs. Webb Pinner, sang "Sunrise," and "Under His Wings." The pall was of pink and white carnations and white gladioli. Pall bearers were J.T. Judkins, Theodore McClenny, Fred Wilson, Herman Butler, Robert Lee Williams, and Harry Butler. Friends of the family served as honorary pall bearers.
