Savage was today called to Norfolk to the bedside of his mother, Mrs. T.W. Savage, who is critically ill. [...] ****************************************************************************** MORTUARY [...] MRS. CHRISTIAN E. SAVAGE The funeral services of Mrs. Christian E. Savage will he held at the residence of her son-in-law, T.E. Powers, 711 West 34th street, at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Rev. I.W. Johnson of Suffolk will officiate. The body will be taken to Suffolk on the Norfolk and Western train at 4:15 o'clock this afternoon for interment in that city. ****************************************************************************** MRS. CHRISTIAN SAVAGE Suffolk, April 23. - Mrs. Christian Savage, mother of J.F. Savage, a prominent merchant of Suffolk, who died at the home of her daughter in Norfolk, will be buried in Cedar Hill cemetery, Suffolk, Wednesday afternoon on the arrival of the 4:45. Mrs. Savage was seventy-five years of age and is survived by her son, J. Frank Savage, of Suffolk; two daughters, Mrs. F.E. Porter and Mrs. J.E. Corbitt of Sunbury, and a number of grandchildren. Rev. Dr. I.W. Johnson and Dr. W.W. Staley will conduct the services at grave Wednesday afternoon.
