A native of Suffolk, he was the son of the late John Skeeter and Sweetie Skeeter. He had retired as a plumber. Skeeter was a former member of Mt. Ararat United Christian Church. Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Skeeter and Bertha Skeeter, and two brothers, Richard Skeeter and Jerry Skeeter, all of Portsmouth; and a friend, Elnora Beamon of Portsmouth. The funeral will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. S. Walters in Fisher Funeral Home, Portsmouth. Burial will be in the Laudi [sic; Lauder] Skeeter Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will assemble at the residence on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. for the procession. T.E.
