MRS. JOHN A. SCRUGGS

Mrs. Elizabeth R. Scruggs, widow of John A. Scruggs, of Buckhorn, Va., died 
Thursday morning, at her home, in the 83d year of her age.  She is survived 
by two brothers, Woodward Darden and George Darden of Boaz, Va.

Funeral services will be held Saturday evening at the late home at 2:30 
o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. H.H. Butler.  Interment will be made 
in the family cemetery.
