[...] We are sorry to hear of the death of Mr. Stever, for many years section master of the Seaboard road. He died yesterday at 12 o'clock at his residence at Stever's Station. [...] Geo. W. [sic; M.] Stever, of Stever Station, died January 31, and was buried February 2nd, in Cedar Hill cemetery, Suffolk. He was a German by birth, but has been in the service of the Seaboard R.R. for over thirty years. He was a good civil engineer and most of their work for many years has been under his care. He was a man of integrity and had many friends. He leaves a wife and one son. He expressed himself as resigned to God's will. Services were conducted at his residence by this writer, and then we brought his mortal remains in a special car to Suffolk and laid his body away in the tomb. [...] W.W. STALEY. George M.
