Death Claims a Lady and a Gentleman Who Were Held in High Esteem 

  GOOD LADY GONE - Mrs. Mittie E. Stallings, wife of Mr. Frank E. Stallings, 
a member of the County Road Commissioners, died last evening at her home 
near Myrtle.  Mrs. Stallings was a great sufferer from Meningitis, and 
lately had been a patient of Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore.  She was 
formerly a resident of Suffolk, where she has many friends and relatives. 
The funeral will take place at 11 o'clock to-morrow from Beaver Dam Baptist 
Church, of which she was a member.

  The funeral of the late Mrs. Mittie E. Stallings, wife of Mr. Frank E. 
Stallings, took place from Beaver Dam Baptist Church.  Several persons from 
Suffolk attended.

She & Frank m. 07-31-1895, in IoW.Co.; the M.Reg. (p. 223 #10) gives Nettie E. 

Frank is likely buried with his father in a STALLINGS family cemetery, 
   Deerpath Rd, Suffolk.
