Hill & Company on West Washington Street, by Dr. R.P. Downey, of the West End Baptist Church, and the Rev. J. Sydney Cobb, of Cartersville. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. A quartette composed of Mrs. Pembroke Baker, Mrs. Archie Smither, J.R. Vann, and James Moore, accompanied by Mrs. Claudia Jacobs, sang "Does Jesus Care," "The Old Rugged Cross," and "Rock of Ages." The pall was made of Easter lilies and pink roses. Active pallbearers were D. O. Savage, J.S. Williams, O.D. King, Burgess Harrell, E.H. Bailey, Arthur Fowler, and Sam Luke. Friends of the family served as honorary pallbearers. William Wynne STONE, farmer, Nansemond Co. native, d. 16 Feb 1937, Suffolk, age 66, interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Block J, Lot 18*), Suffolk, 17 Feb 1937, donated obit, publication unknown *His father & step-mother are buried in the same lot.
