The funeral services were conducted at the grave by Dr. W.W. Staley. Mrs. Josephine Harrington's infant was interred Sunday at 11 a.m. The funeral service was read at the grave by Rev. John N. McCormick. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Carr's 4-month-old child was buried in Cedar Hill, Rev. J.F. Love officiating. The infant of Mr. and Mrs. William Smith, of Weldon, N.C., was brought to Suffolk and interred at 5 p.m. Saturday, Rev. John N. Jul 1895, age 6 mos., interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery (unmarked*), Suffolk, 7 Jul 1895, infant SMITH, child of William R. & Ida (TRAVIS) SMITH, d. Jul 1995, Weldon, Halifax Co., NC, interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery*, Suffolk, 6 Jul 1895, *Walter G. & Nora (CUSHING) SMITH, and William R. & Ida (TRAVIS) SMITH are buried in Block C, Lot 10.
