Funeral Tomorrow For Samuel Snead 

  Funeral services for Samuel P. Snead, who died Monday at 8:15 p. m. at the 
age of 91 at Lane's Nursing Home, will be conducted in Bruno [sic; Bremo] 
Bluff Thursday at 3 p.m. 

  Burial will be in the family cemetery near Fork Union. 

  Surviving is a son, Sam Snead, assistant game warden in Nansemomd County; 
another son and two daughters, besides grandchildren and great grandchildren.

b. 12 Sep 1867, Fork Union, Fluvanna Co., d. 15 Jun 1959, Suffolk, 
interred in Fork Union Memorial Cemetery*, 18 Jun 1959,

   ("[Richmond] Times-Dispatch," Feb. 7, 1905) of his wedding with Rosa 
   Bell MELTON (1888 - 1945).

His parents, Benjamin Hadad & Rebecca (PETTIT) SNEAD, 
   are buried in the SEAY family cemetery, Fork Union.
