IDA SAUNDERS SUFFOLK - Oct. 5 - Mrs. Ida Saunders, widow of the late James R. Saunders, died suddenly at her home on Saratoga street last night, in the 52nd year of her age, at about 2:30 o'clock. Mrs. Saunders, who was Miss Ida Brinkley was prominently connected by birth and marriage with some of the leading county families. She had not been in good health for some months but her death was a shock to her family and friends. She is survived by two sons, Job R. Saunders and Ray Saunders of Suffolk; one daughter, Mrs. Floyd W. Harrell of Harrell, Va.; three brothers, R.W. Brinkley of Beamon, J.W. Brinkley of the county and J.J. Brinkley of Suffolk; two sisters, Mrs. C.W. Hanbury of Norfolk and Miss Maggie Brinkley of Suffolk. Mrs. Saunders was a member of the Baptist church and was a woman of many fine traits of character, an excellent friend and neighbor. The funeral services will be held at the Baptist church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Dr. F.H. Martin. The body will be taken to Saunders, Va. immediately after the funeral services for interment in the family cemetery. Ida Florence (BRINKLEY; Mrs. James R.
