MARY SUE WRIGHT CARTER SAUNDERS

   Mary Sue Saunders, 77, died this morning at 313 Elmhurst Lane, Portsmouth. 
She was the widow of Ray J. Saunders, and the daughter of the late George C. 
and Sadie Morgan Wright.

   She was a retired Nurse’s Aide at Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, and a 
member of Holland Christian Church.

   Survivors include two daughters, Audrey C. Jennings of Portsmouth; one 
sister, Virginia Wright of Chesapeake; one brother, David O. Wright of 
Franklin; one grandson, one granddaughter; and three great-grandson.

   The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Hill Underwood Funeral 
Home by the Rev. David Seymour and Dr. R.E. Brittle.  Burial will be in 
Holland Cemetery.  Arrangements by Hill Underwood Funeral Home.
