J.L. King officiating. The active pallbearers were John Ashburn, John Vaughan, John Powell, Leon Darden, Sam Nelms, John Johnson, Frank Ashburn, Herron Gardner. Honorary - The deacons of the church, Frank Eley, W.J. Nelms, G.A. Johnson, B.P. Holland, J.M. Underwood, M.L. Vaughan, J.J. Johnson. The flowers were beautiful and hundreds of friends were present at the services.
